Efficient URL Cleaner for Enhanced Privacy
nudl is a utility tool designed for Windows that effectively strips tracking parameters from any link you copy. It operates seamlessly across various platforms, including Slack, Discord, and web browsers, ensuring that users can retrieve a clean URL without any tracking data. This tool does not function as a URL shortener; instead, it provides the original link in a trimmed format, free from any unwanted tracking elements.
The application operates entirely offline, making zero network calls, which enhances user privacy. It keeps a local audit log of every change made, allowing users to undo any edits within a three-second window. nudlw serves as a tray app that can operate in hotkey or automatic mode, while nudl functions as a command line tool, enabling integration with clipboard operations. This combination makes nudl a powerful ally for those concerned about online tracking.
